I could not live without music. Music gets me through my days. It motivates my when I’m at the gym to go faster to keep up with the beat. It also helps me switch my moods/attitude to become more positive to my surrounding. I love listening to music when i do my homework. It give me a break if i need nee one. I couldn’t live with out music!

I have had many kinda of friends over my life time so far. My first best friend was my nieghbor, which lived a mile away from me. We meet on our school bus, and we were in the same homeroom. We were best friends all the the school years. She went off to college and we both have been to busy. It’s hard to stay in touch when she lives two hours away. I miss her very much and I always am looking forward to see her when she comes home for the holidays!

The summer of my freshman year was the worst because I became very weak. I couldn’t even walk up the stairs, hold a gallon of milk, and raise my hands over my head to wash my hair. My mom finally took me to the doctor after suffering for at least a month. She thought I was always a baby, and I had to go to the doctor for everything. The doctors were testing my blood for everything. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me so they sent me to a specialist in the cities. The specialist soon figured out that I had Rheumatoid Arthritis. After taking pills for about two years I finally grew out of it.

The worst storm I have ever lived through is the Halloween snow storm in 1991. I was born that year so i don’t remember it but my parents said that they had to stay in the hospital an extra night because of the storm. Our roof and siding had hail damage after a thunderstorm. I have been every luck that I haven’t experienced any major natural disasters.

If I was asked this question, which grandparents were my favorite, ten years ago it would be a completely different answer. Ten years ago my answer would of been my dads parents. My dads parents lived right next to us on a farm so I was always over their everyday. They took me on any trips and bought me pretty much what  I wanted. We had some family problems so I haven’t talked to them in years. My mom’s parent grew closer to me after the problems with my other grandparents. My mom’s dad passed away so my grandma moved in the nursing home where I work. We spent lots of time together. She passed away about a year ago so I really don’t have anymore grandparents which is sad!

Stress is a had thing to deal with especially when I started college. The first day of college I almost quit because of stress. I had to start my college life with a reading class which is my worst subject. I get stressed out if I get behind on my class work, or when I get a lot of homework to do. Reading out loud is a challenge for me. I start shaking and sweating when I have to read out loud, but If I practice what I’m reading before, my stress level is lower. I have found out that you just have to deal with stress because everyone goes through it.

When I was a little girl, I was afraid of stepping on the reflection of the lights in the shopping malls and other stores. I thought I was going to fall through the floor if I stepped on the reflection of the lights. I would always have to walk on the carpet. My mom would get so mad because i would slow up her shopping. I finally realized that I could walk over the lights and not fall through.

The change in the weather has put me in a totally different mood. I’m always happy when it’s sunny out. The spring time reminds me of cutting wood with my dad. As soon as we can drive the truck into the woods we are out there cutting wood for our wood burning stove. I never want to be inside when it is sunny out, but when its cold and snowy out I’minside all day. The weather plays plays a big role on my attitude!

The worse job I have ever had was working with my dad in construction. I had to lift and carry heavy cement blocks. I had to stack them over my head so that my dad could react them on the scaffolding. I also had to run wheelbarrows of cement to and from the basement trying not to spill any. The worst thing is that it would be 90 degrees out and we could slow down. I would come home just covered in cement!

I didn’t get in trouble for sharing my answers to my best friend. It was some human biology homework. My friend, Bethany, forgot that it was due so she asked for my paper to copy. I let her take it and we ended up getting 100% on the homework. She bought me cookies at lunch since she copied my paper. We never got caught but we got luck!
